Megaprofil IG Ltd. is part of the big family of Intercom Group Ltd. and is specialized in the production of round, square and rectangular welded steel hollow sections. Established in 2006, the company utilizes the latest technologies and equipment for pipe production. Based in Ruse, the biggest Bulgarian river port on the river Danube, ensures a big logistical advantage in terms of transporting production to central and western Europe.
The plant has a service area of 24 000 mΒ², 140 experienced employees are operating on 3 production lines for construction and boiler pipes, 2 lines for production of precision tubes and 1 line for U and L profiles. Π’he Annual production capacity for pipes and hollow sections is 70 000 tons and in 2021 over 25 million meters were produced. New investments are planned to begin in 2022 which will double the service area for development of future operations.

Intercom Group Ltd has recently grown the capacity of its warehousing by opening its own premises in Regensburg, Germany where steel products are more closer to our western European partners and to meet any of their needs for steel pipes.

With more than 24 years’ expertise in the field, Intercom Group has its own land transport unit, Intercom Sped Ltd, whose capacity is now expanded to 55 trucks and light transport vehicles, offering a wide range of logistical services, competitive freights, and an extensively experienced team of professionals that are licensed for international auto transport.
Intercom Shipping Ltd is an equivalently successful and dynamically growing logistics unit at Intercom Group, which provides river transport along all European inner waterways. The company now owns five propelled river vessels that traverse the Danube River to Kelheim, which connects the Danube river with the Rhein and Main rivers and the Western European seaports. Part of this fleet is the biggest freight ship sailing under the Bulgarian flag on the River Danube, namely St. Ap. Toma.
